We will be laidoff sooner than 10/10/25. I will bet on it.
@hy but the jobs are going overseas. The laid off employees who last day is 10/10/25 , have to train them first to take their jobs . And if those employees don’t behave they don’t get a severance in October. No one signed the severance yet , they can’t .
So much more difficult to have anything done from the Filipinos. They say yes we will do that for you and then they say oh you have to have your local HR department do it and it turns out that's the ones that got axed. So they can remodel stores because that increases sales, not.
@hf hahaha good luck with that. Remember you are only a number. No employee is safe.
@hf more rounds of lay off’s coming after this?
@OP The word is out because Progressive Grocers just announced that Albertsons cut jobs at the Phoenix office. Albertsons representative wouldn't provide the number of associates impacted. Of course, Albertsons spokesperson wouldn't admit to the jobs being moved to the offshore team either.
There is more but until I talk to an attorney all I can say this is fact.
@d1 accountants as well not just clerks .
@c0 yes unfortunately it’s true.
@d1 So all of Accounting including the Tax Department? What other Departments were impacted??? I believe WARN requires employers to report these mass layoffs because it impacts 100 or more employees.
Yes, a large majority of accounting clerks at NASC told 10/10 last day.
Any truth to this?
