Any update, still as planned for April?
with the IT getting hit today, I am willing to believe the rumors at least 50%. Holy grail: will modem SW be affected? If anyone has any clue, please give it away. You could help many people avoid anxiety. Thanks.
@pv Do not expect any answers, the truth is very unsightly and disturbing.
@rc The two months is only if WARN was triggered (more than 50 people in one location). If WARN was triggered, they will get paid for two months from when they are notified, but will typically only work for two more weeks to give time to transfer work. About 8 years ago they had people coming in to the office for the two months. Depressing for everyone, so i think they learned from that. My guess is that WARN will be triggered and they’ll get the two months.

This is correct. People were notified today of 7 April last working day.

@hp Do not unerstand who gives the negative reaction to this simple question. Please, folks give me your versions because I am realy lost. I know that it is not: technical knowledge, hands on experience, professional/personal integrity, productive relationship with the colleagues, common sense. Basically, none of those I believed matter in this line of work. Tell us, please, what does it take???

All the senior, staff and principal engineers should be laid off. They are useless lazy people and doing the job of junior engineers.
