Does anyone know when the Birmingham, AL layoffs will be?

We are in Raleigh in Auto and about 200 of us are being laid off. We do not have the date but essentially closing down our Hub.
They have moved everyday banking into the HUB and were offering entry level positions for that call center as a transition. This was being done they said so another site or sites could be closed. I thought Birmingham had been mentioned as either expanding or closing.
If it is closing then our predicament may be beneficial. They were trying ro pull 90 people from the auto group and out of 200 only 7 people are going. The rest of us have opted to be laid off. Class starts on Sept 28th. We expect to get our notice on that Tuesday the 30th which is also the end of the fiscal year.
We had been wondering what they are going to do since no one is taking the bait.
Mostly customer service, so if you aren't in that lob, you probably wouldn't be aware. Jacksonville had similar in scope and purpose. Before it shut down.
The biggest take away from this post is learning that we have some sort of staff building in Birmingham, AL.
@d5 I contest that egregious statement. Birmingham is equally as incompetent as any other region in the country for losers. You're all losers, my fiend
Yeah, well, you aren't going to find them in Hudson Yards either. That's the real problem here.
As soon as HR can process the paperwork. No need to keep these l*sers around. We need to transform into a top notch bank, and Alabama isn’t where we need to keep people around!
By end of 2026.
In 9 days ...
I heard right before Christmas
Talking about the call center there?
