I think we all can see there is a certain line of business, Medicare based roles, that are being filled, and other areas are unable to fill positions left open for months, and longer.
The company has made/is making changes that make me think they’re hoping for some natural attrition.
Do people think this is still just to allow resettlement of Cigna roles, or do we think there is still a potential for an actual layoff?

@aq I have seen jobs being posted multiple times, and wondered why. I thought maybe they’re not getting the applicants they want, so reposting to move it up, or make it look new.
I have a friend that applied for one of the recently posted jobs, and she got an interview but during it they told her the post was on hold, and they didn’t know when they’d move forward.
When the c-suite get multimillion dollar bonuses year after year, you can hardly say HCSC is struggling.
I think that they are definitely cooking something. Some departments are become more strict about the in office attendance. Likely they just want people to quit to avoid severance packages, unemployment issues, and stuff like that. I have seen some job openings over and over again and HR is being openly dishonest because they never say if this are true openings or just gaslighting. Some departments are getting backfills and some are getting absolutely hammered. I think that most departments are short staffed though. I think that the healthcare industry, in general, is struggling though.
