Because they pester you with calls from peers, directors, and VPs in your chain of command when you don't give.
why support? that is easy... because you boss and the executive above them that approve yearly raises have quotas...and they approve raises. of COURSE that hipac goal in no way impacts YOUR BOSS as they do reviews.. not even a smidgen. that would be illegal. that exec who used to personally call you on the phone to ask if you would join has no undue influence at all.
The money goes to politicians so Honeywell can influence laws and project awards.
Honeywell supports politicians that reduce workers rights and benefits and increase the companies ability to make more profit.
I just don't get it. Why would I contribute to the Honeywell PAC and let them decide who or what party to distribute the money to that may not align with my personal political beliefs?
