I thought that was for Ford employees? Should Ford employees get a better deal than? I am not happy about this as a Ford employee. This is a benefit for us! What is everyone's thought s?

I'm shocked there's no 2-for-1 deal going on. Have you seen what ford cars cost these days? You can grab a Lexus or a BMW for roughly the same price, so who in their right mind would actually buy a Ford? I'm pretty sure the total cost of ownership for a Lexus is way lower too.
@OP No. Not upset. It’s just a marketing thing, they will put $ on cars one way or another, it is temporary and has been done before. Why would anyone even care?
@qs Easy there Billy boy.
@v4 they’re not built poorly they’re designed and built poorly
you guys build poor quality vehicles. W/O "A" plan, they will get rusted by sitting in dealer lots
I mean who is voting this down. People don't like facts? Can't help it.
Ford will have to beg people to buy their cars and trucks. This is one way to do it.
Fu-k off
Boy you sure to get upset about worthless $hit don't you.
@px I have never met a decent person from U of M, only a--holes and dou--ebags.
Why don't you get mad about something that actually matters...like this

Ford does the same $hit. You can't tell me you can find any of these Americans. They are lying to your face and think you'll do nothing about it.
There is no plan worth buying a Ford. It'll spend more time in the shop because of recalls than actually on the road. You'll need to buy a new vehicle at 100k miles because they aren't built to last. It's called planned obsolescence. You'll still owe $25k on your previous vehicle when you must buy a new one.
A plan isn’t that big a deal.
When Ford got rid of the ‘B lot’, that was a real gut punch.
Nope - why are you? Nothing better to do?
@jq This appears to be their strategy: simply make them quit. They’ve made me reconsider, and I used to love my job. I can’t believe Ford has become such a terrible place to work. The leadership is truly toxic.
Instead of simply reducing the prices they are
- Reducing the prices while making employees upset.
The desperation is back! No one wants a Ford unless Ford pays the dealership to lower the price.
This company is on its last leg.
So can also be a bargain if your somewhat of an imbicile who endangers other on the road...got it.
No. Explain to me the rational in giving this the time of day to pi-s me off. I don't buy Fords so I don't care. They sign a paycheck, that's all that matters. If someone goes against your better advice and buys one anyway, give them the appropriate discount, saving them from dealer and Ford margin a little more while then making it look like you support the company. Win win if you cannot convince them to buy a higher quality product. As for giving the discount freely? It's the least they could do.
Are you saying you consider the A plan discount a benefit? Well then that tells us where your head is at when it comes to quality and knowing a thing or two about vehicle ownership in general.
@c5+1kqk4deka The mgmt lease was a bargain when we had two teenage boys. We did the lease so we didn’t’ have to pay the high insurance rates. We picked whatever vehicle was the cheapest monthly rate at the time Focus / Fiesta / Escape.
The mgmt lease is also a bargain for those managers who have bad driving records: DUIs, speeding tickets etc.
Could not give a sh-t, the company is in the toilet. Pi-s poor management/executives/HR/rapidly degrading culture, awful, low quality products, overpriced. How does this end well? Ford - soon to be a relic read about in history books and a niche truck manufacturer (I'm betting that lunch will get eaten pretty quick too).
You should be lucky that people are buying fords. Pretty soon even this tactic won’t work when people realize they are buying overpriced junk.
Not at all. I’ll never buy another Ford vehicle, we need some uneducated people to buy them so we get paychecks.
better than sitting on dealer's lots without selling.
It's not even a great benefit. Get a couple % of MSRP, big whoop.
Is this a tactic Ford uses during bad times to sell vehicles at lower margins? So much for return to 8/9/10.
Why would you want to drive a ford? It’s not a good car. The only reason to use management lease is to avoid the dealership.
This trick points out how unaffordable our vehicles really are. Gotta move the metal somehow. Poor quality and a thin showroom this is the only way.
Yes. A plan is supposed to be a benefit you get for working there. They already sc--wed us on AICP and merits, now this? Disrespectful. And this whole " We work hard so you should pay what we pay." Sc--w that. Do customers put up with forced ranking, incompetent leaders, A toxic workplace? I will gladly share that.
@OP Desperate times require DESPERATE measures. Go see the Titanic movie and learn all about Ford and their eiitest management style. Elevator? Ship? Yup! "GOING DOWN"!
Buying any Ford vehicle is a bad deal, spreading A plan around to everyone might help Ford pay down their massive debt.
They should give Management Lease to employees with 10 years+
I’m good with it if we sell more vehicles. The company needs money to stay in business. That’s our paycheck.
