Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Eric moving forward

Just saw a post on LinkedIn that was

Excited to share my next chapter at Xerox! And then the post went on to share that this person moved into a director role and how they will continue to help Xerox on the transformation journey.

What wasn’t said but I bet is true: 1) this person is part of the 20% moving up at Xerox 2) while others whine about no pay raises this person created their pay raise 3) this person will continue to change Xerox for the better.

Congrats to another 20% worker changing our company for the better. Yes this was posted in the last 24 hours and this person moved into a new position after a round of lay offs.

This dude is not going to change anything. The word you are looking for, particularly related to LinkedIn, is obsequious. They do that for attention.

If your being replaced by lower cost labor then your not in the 20% that improves their skills and abilities to make themselves more valuable for management. Management is doing there jobs moving your work overseas to save the company money. Go find a state government job that can’t be relocated where the tax payers will give you cost of living raises no matter what you truly deserve.

@es I won’t apologize for needing to support my Cebu coworkers. We hold daily morning meetings with them, and by week’s end they complete their assignments on time and according to the requested specifications. I cannot say the same about the colleagues in the cubicles in the office.

Moreover, Cebu staff value their pay and benefits more than acting entitled and constantly demanding additional rewards. I hope they assume increasing portions of our workloads, which would greatly simplify daily life.

I don’t mind waking up early to work with staff that appreciate their work. Thank you to Cebu staff read this you are the backbone of the work in my area.

This post and the random reply Either was written by chatgtp.or cebu employee. Either way this is what we are being replaced with and what our customers will get. Food luck

@d1 Who, not Whom. It's a subject he/she/they pronoun, not an object him/her/them pronoun.

For those whom respond with questionable responses.. when the you get your pink sheets — look in the mirror and say “My attitude and lack of skills are my fault and I accept responsibility for the position I’m in” The second part you need to accept is that your attitude and lack of skills most likely put you at the head of the line for lay offs.

Also hopefully you don’t work with the rest of us because your responses are above acceptable within the workplace.
