@jg They did in fact change how severance is funded. Some, but less, is still top of the house. Some of the severance costs is carried by the organization doing the layoff.

First, they came for the Second Line of Defense, but I wasn't one of them so I said nothing. Then they came for the third line of defense, but I wasn't one of them so I said nothing. Then they came for me and there was nobody left to say anything to..

@hd You've been spending too much time on this board listening to people who don't know what they're talking about. The overwhelmimg majority of terminations are discplacements (with severance regardless of rating).

  • The so-called severance is in fact payment to sign a release in which you agree not to sue the company or disclose confidential information.*

If you dont sign the release, no severance. its full name is "Severance and release"

I thought they had changed how they funded layoffs and favored firing people instead. Is this supposed layoff different?

“They” say that every two weeks yet “they” are always wrong about it being massive. WF prefers the slow painful drip because anxiety keeps the remaining plebs small.

@c9 This is the department I am from. They are good at letting the employees know that layoffs will happen as the volume of work continues to drop. I am tired of waiting for it to happen. Let's get it over with already.

There will be layoffs in ECRL, in the complaints and remediation space. I can confirm this will affect many people.

These walls are funny. First you hate 'em. Enough time passes, you get so you depend on 'em. That's institutionalized.
