Agreed! I want to know layoff info that will make an impact to me or my area. Some don’t appear to even work here or at least don’t anymore.

My point was that we're all capable of reading the news and there's no real point in reiterating it verbatim here on a layoff site. There just seems to be way too much off topic junk here lately. Just my opinion.
@mjm+1, you need to take some classes, i just looked at it and I would think this would be one other factor that will be a direct reason for layoffs, in addition to anything internal.
So now we're half facebook and half cnbc. I miss regular old posts about layoffs.
