I believe they are saying they just get to continue from home. No disciplinary no nothing. The antivaxxers won. Vaxxed people will have to be in the office while they get the benefit of WFH. It's really the opposite of how it should be.

@hahr+1dX6nHiO I am confused too. Are you saying your disciplinary is written to say you have an extension? Did you get the disciplinary at the same time as the extension? If not, which one came 1st.

It would seem that if there is an extension then there should be no disciplinary.

Why would they keep a disciplinary open for 6 months? Unless they will use an open disciplinary as a justification to layoff or fire for other reasons.

There have not been too many people saying they have received disciplinary actions for not vaccinating, I wonder if it up to their people leaders vs HR to continue to put people under disciplinary even when there is an extension.

@hahr+1dX6nHiO, so your disciplinary action was for something different than the vaccine? Or they have dissolved the disciplinary action by extending the due date of the vaccine?

I would bet not a person on here threatening to go to "their" attorney has one to speak of that would take on Centene, a private company, requiring a vaccine. Or that they have any attorney at all. This is a site for layoff issues, not anti vaxers wearing tinfoil hats.

Nothing is on pause. This company can mandate a vaccine policy however they choose. If you don't choose to comply, then you have chosen to be unemployed. It is not a difficult concept.

Interesting. I got an email stating vaccine policy has been put on pause till June 30th , as my state passed a law prohibiting businesses from mandating vaccines. Love my governor!!

Oh yes, thats true. I was in a leadership meeting when that was discussed. No access to the bldg if you’re not vaccinated and you’ll be receiving emails sometime after Thxgiving.

This is a layoff which does not have to be reported as a layoff. It's all firings for cause. A lot of public companies are doing this.
