VRIF notification

So today those that requested VRIF get told yes or no. It is mid afternoon in Europe already and still silence. I guess they are going to push the 14th May date to be as late as possible in the day just to be “respectful” which is how Louis described the process would be.

@mv on it is now 4 days after notification day if you applied - and still not all response to request for VRIF have been done.

@mw, in the FAQs, if you submitted your retirement before the VRIF was announced, you’re disqualified. Bad timing for me.

@mw There are 5 or 6 people that have specific skills or knowledge that would be painful for SLT to replace. They will not be accepted for VRIF.

@fk agree but this is not a little thing. It’s a significant decision to say “yeah I want to leave” and then not keep to the timelines. LP only been in the job a few weeks and we have back to same ole same ole not doing what they said they would do. And yes it the 16th and two days later still not heard anything.

Not surprising. Management sets timelines despite not knowing how many applicants they would get and probably ignoring their employees telling them the timelines weren’t workable.

@bh nope. No notifications at all today. It’s not just rude - it’s another example of the shambles that is HR and the inability of the leadership to do what they say they will. I have written to LP myself saying that the words he launched the program (transparency and respect) have not followed through. I now I won’t get an answer.

This company has zero respect for any of their employees. It’s completely lip service and a talking point on slide. People who have given decades of their life dismissed with a mere 3 month severance while there’s complete mismanagement and people who do absolutely nothing but collect a handsome paycheck. Get out now. It’s a house of cards. Bite the bullet. As difficult as finding a job in this market is, there’s no way staying at Xerox is healthy for anyone but the C suite.
