Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Constant cuts are taking their toll

The atmosphere changed after the layoffs became the norm and it hasn't come back. People are hesitant to speak up, to take initiative, and to trust. I keep waiting for things to feel normal again, but they never do. It's no surprise, though, since we all know more layoffs are always a possibility.

Frontline is bleeding. Open routes, premium pay given to cover them. Lots of folks leaving, or trying to.

@h8 But how many people look at PepsiCo's YouTube videos? I work here and have zero interest. Most people just stuff their fat faces with chips and soda and don't give a thought to anything else.

And it has taken toll on Pepsico’s reputation and perception of the company. I’ve seen comments on social media including under Pepsico corporate videos on the official youtube channel! How long before the toxic working culture at Pepsico is well known among consumers? The disconnect between the brand image we aim to project to consumers and the cesspool we are working in cannot be hidden under cheap marketing and PR stunts!

It's to the point where you can't speak up that there is no one to do the work.

@bb thanks to ma Indra Indians have had free reign to milk and reward their own citizens. This has become a defacto Indian company with Indian toxic culture. They have run it into the ground. Corporate hijacking

@OP fairly obvious will continue.
All budgets being cut, retail and foodservice distributors losing interest promoting anything. Marketing for said distributors being cut, leading to distributors cutting promotion programs, especially foodservice. Cycle of doom, maybe bottoms one day in distant future.
