So I guess we’re always going to be on our toes and stressed out of our minds.

@h7 Unfortunately no easy way to do layoffs and the company has become very bloated, especially at management level. The layoffs were done even worse 10 or so years ago when people came into the office and you had to watch them get escorted out. I would rather get a notice in the evening or early morning while not in the office then to find out in front of an entire office and have a bunch of security around escorting people.
@cq source?
My team is now a bunch of clock punchers. We've all agreed to show up and leave on time. No early arrivals, late departures, working through lunch, or extra in-office days. All work related apps have been removed from our personal phones.
@ap I don’t think there will be any replacements they want to show more profits so drop more people and expect who’s left to do the job of 10

How many folks were laid off ?
Layoff and get replaced by H1B's.
I think we need to assume that this is going to continue.
@a1 it's obvious that this was slated for last week but it didn't get approval in time from someone.
In 15 years, I’ve never known them to have layoffs on a Monday.
