Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Albuquerque Office

Everyone is focused on the closures in Texas and Illinois offices, but Albuquerque’s situation is interesting. They closed one office within the last few months but shifted everyone to Alexander, does that mean Albuquerque is actually safe, or is that just a temporary pit stop?

@171 as a person who works at Alexander, yes, the building is indeed closing. The very few who are not moving ro fully remote, are going to HQ. Period.

ABQ Alexander building is closing. A handfull of people are moving to HQ and the rest moved to fully remote - wfh. The next customer advocate training has been canceled. With AI rolling out in Customer Service and Claims, there is lots of fear layoffs will happen. Anyone have thoughts?

@h4 the rude one on the top floor who threatens all her employees saying they don’t want to see her angry when they give her bad reviews and only hires her friends?

Was nothing but drama up there.

They could probably close the HQ building. You ever hear some of those people talk?

One of those VPs always looks and sounds drunk.

Actually many of the employees who were affected by the closure at 25 Way were moved to the HQ building approximately 10 minutes north. The NM HQ building had been pretty empty post-COVID and is now much more full.
