Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

We're having a quiet start of the year

Which means that we can expect all he-l to break loose at any moment. Quiet at DXC always means the same thing: the calm before the storm. And I believe we're in for a major one sometime soon. It'd be nice if I was wrong about this, but I highly doubt that I am.

This could have a bit of affect on the Share price shortly:- ( probably only be a short downward blip )

You‘re probably right, but for some of us it‘s not that easy to quit for various reasons.
It‘s valid for co-workers to come to this site and share their views and frustration.
I find the insights provided here helpful (sometimes). If you despise the content of this forum, just stay away then.

@gzm+1qIFLWhq If you had enough, find another job already and leave! This site is a broken record, over and over you say the same thing. But you stay anyway, why should DXC give you pay increases, you stay anyway!

DXC always had a quiet start to the year, both calendar and fiscal (starts April 1st), that’s the been a huge problem. While other companies are rewarding employees and revving up the sales engines, DXC is “pausing “ while they figure out how to slash budgets, make the numbers look better, and force managers to lower employee performance ratings to get to a specific number (that doesn’t really matter). They haven’t figured out how to run a continuous business that just never stops running. Instead the pauses and “Excel H-ll” run it further and further into the ground.

It's already started, hiring freeze, expenses crackdown, are quick and easy to implement. The inevitable WFR takes a bit longer
