It is amazing how a company can spend so much money on decorating stupid buildings to sacrifice their associates livelihood. I used to enjoy talking about Anthem as the best place to work but I can't say the same now. Stop hiring exes who are ready to get rid of associates with experience to bring their own kind

Careers are built on lavish rebranding, remodeling, re-engineering, etc. It's great work, if you can get it.
@zak+1u8DoAIl Wow that’s horrible !

The offshore offices are nice because people basically live there. There are sleeping pods for God's sake. It's because some of them are traveling 3 hours to work.
And that's the future culture in the US.
I actually reached out to the corporate project mgmt team. Initially it was to ask about the equipment, but then I dove deeper into the expenditure of installing new cubicles in the “collaboration” spaces as opposed to utilizing the existing sections that are “hibernated.” Where am I supposed to play chess or checkers now?!? Not to mention, they have to relocate the space pods (soundproof booths), which I overheard the contractors complaining about bc they keep moving them to spaces where there isn’t power supply. So, you’re telling me the tax incentives/cuts are more than what you’re shelling out in constant remodeling costs?? Umm ok
I mean look up on google the Carelon locations in the Philippines and India. Way better then what we have here
There has got to be some kind of a tax incentive in this. They do absolutely nothing unless it's for a gain.
$1000 per sheet!!? What does it do; sing & dance? Some designer’s friend is giggling all the way to the bank. Ge-z.
When our office was remodeled, a member of the building staff (not our employee) told me that the wallpaper we have cost $1,000 PER SHEET.
The waste of money is absolutely ridiculous. You have the remodeling, plus look at the millions of dollars spent just to change the company name to something crazy. Of course, the marketing guru who was behind a lot of that has left the company.
