@1syh+1 You are right about Belk that the fish rot from the head down. Belk is rotten from the top and it trickles down. I know all executive leaders at Belk know these problems but ignore them since they sold their pathetic souls for bonus and money at Belk!
Like the “Big Gold Fish” Belk is heading to another bad Chapter 11 next year or the “big ocean in the sky” anytime now. Belk only needs a “Mercy Flush” from creditors and vendors to release the pain at last!
@gwb. You are correct about waiting in line everywhere but that is another whole issue. There is no integrity in business in this country any more but this site is about belk and no matter what everyone is doing does not change the horrible aggressive business practices that sycamore and belk use. @1fde. You are so right. They only care about the money that they are making. I have caught belk managers in many lies and deceptions. Belk is rotten from the top and it trickles down.
Exactly my point about Belk culture and style of leadership. Everything executive leaders from the top is doing and lying to Belk workers and customers everyday. The big difference between a “used car sales man” and Belk CEO is that at least the “used car sale man “know” when he is lying to you! Belk top leaders don’t care much about you or anybody but their own profits and money making!

Every retailer in America was/is looking to hire for holiday help. Doesn’t matter now as we are almost a week away from Xmas.
Customers will wait in lines for groceries, fast food, banks, pharmacies, etc. Stop making it sound like Belk only has this issue.
If Belk is hiring 5000 seasonal holiday workers to help this Christmas why are you and I the only one working at the cash register today? There are many angry customers looking to check out? Liquidation at any time now may be or just a scam to deceiving Belk poor workers?
Belk should sell and stop crying like Babies Toy R Us when they closed all the store after the year liquidation! Two tears the the bucket Belk CEOs and their friends at the top!

@jfc. Get a grip. Just because someone does not agree with your lack of empathy point of veiw doesn't mean they are babies. Some people actually have feelings that take into consideration somebody elses point of veiw.
