When are the promotions announced typically? Both with your manager and/or team and then also within your LOB? When is the year end comp (Bonus/Raises) typically announced.

There are no such things as promotions here.
You are deemed adequate to take on more work because you are younger, not passive aggressive and challenging to the used charmin that we call management and you are already underpaid. So… you get a few extra back because you fit the bill until you can be fired.
You do not want ‘promotions’ like this. All you are is getting extra burden to make up for getting rid of older and / or more expensive employees. There is no advancement here.
What chance of a raise for meets some
10 percent doe not meet
15 percent meets some
What % of people were jammed into partial meets?
@gt You're a group 2. Chances depend on what else is going on in your team. Anyone with exceeds in all 3 gets a promotion. That's decided ahead of time and those categories are reserved for them.
What is group 1/group 2?
I was rated exceeded expectations for 2/3 groups, and 1/3 met.
What do you think my chances are? Spoke with my manager and he said nominated earlier in year but nothing since
If you were rated as Group 1, that means you're getting a promotion. That category is reserved for that. In the past, Group 2s also got promotions but I doubt that is still the case. All of this was decided in October (well before your self-evaluation). Comp was already done a week or two before Thanksgiving. Since they knew who'd they be getting rid of, they knew how much was in the pot. It won't be good except for Group 1 and select Group 2s.
Bonus compensation are already decided by mid to end of December and pay out is end of Jan. Promotion wise most that have been working towards promotion with their managers support would already know by November that’s it’s going to happened for them and all finalized as a decision by early Jan.
Promotions decided at this stage. bBnuses and payrises conversation takes place in mid Jan and bonus paid in Jan. Payrises kick in later. If you're not promoted be prepared for a miserable increase.
Same day, 16th Jan.
Comp still to be finalised, promotions already decide but not announced. Some managers leak early for whatever reason
Right after they get the headcount for all of us who got let go in the last few weeks. They’ll tally up the numbers, see how much money they’re saving…give RV his mandatory 110% raise and then give everyone else an extra $15 a pay
Promotion! Ha! If you mean, getting more responsibility without additional compensation. Good luck.
Middle of Jan promotions and comp are discussed.
