Why has a date for the Layoff not been communicated to employees? Why do the news articles state a date of November 10th?

@gt careful. Notifications begin Nov 10. Will occur that week. Dec. is the last day on the payroll, not meaning you work until then, meaning that'll be your final payment day for most laid off folks.
I got the WARN andit says layoff notifications will start on Nov 10th with ending work date Dec 1.
Employees are always the last to know. BOD spills it to their wining and dining buddies…. Oops
Any location with more than 100 employees with layoffs of 50 or more are required to submit WARN . Seems like Midland could be in play.
Only Houston will have enough people to qualify for WARN. They are the only ones who got the WARN notice email so anyone outside of Houston hasn’t seen that it said Nov 10th. Kind of cr-ppy they didn’t just send that info to everyone imo.
@a8 You know people can't read. It's clearly stated on there.
The WARN notice says November 10
WARN requires 60 days notice. The state was notified on September 4. 60 days notice means COP could start layoffs the week of November 3.
The news is reporting November 10 because the story author is really bad at math and editors are more concerned about click bait headlines.
