Are clinical positions on the chopping block? Nurses and doctors?

I’m betting 8/22 or 8/29.

My reading on this is that the upper management is very eager to try and dump positions they feel are easily replicable in Bands 1-4. For Band 1 these are long-term employees who have been with contact center or billing for 2-3 years and have great metrics but there are no plans to promote them or that they can be replaced with someone at $3 less an hour. I imagine there is some bloat at the Band 3-4 levels, and they will cut some management there on teams no longer deemed needed or have very low volumes of work. I also get the sense that higher management genuinely seems to believe Accredo and ESI reps really have it good because many are remote but fail to acknowledge that the Band 1 and Band 2 teams are being piled on with added work that pharmacists normally do (They are now having patient care advocates help on medicines they aren't trained on at all) and no pay increase. Sure they get to be remote, but they work the amount of three people for a starting pay of $17/hour. They are genuinely better off going to work at Costco.

Interesting . To the managers below , is it more of the mid year review process ? Or incentivize the good performers? What made you think it is in preparation of layoffs ? Do you think it is to put low performing people on PIP ? It will be surprising if full time employees are let go without giving notice.

Evernorth/Accredo and ESI are laying off across the board across all bands. Like the recent poster in here I am a manager and was told to rank all those under my team and submit by 7/31

Evernorth Manager here. I had to rank my employees by 7/31. This definitely means layoffs in our org. Based on when this had to be done I’m guessing it will be August 29th to avoid having to pay out prorated bonuses for following year since layoffs keep employee on for 4 weeks and the fiscal year cutoff is start of October. My advice is always plan on layoffs and always keep your resume up to date. That’s just how things work at a Fortune 100 company.
