Saw a recent post on Pepsi reddit where a Territory Manager calls out field sales merger likely happening by this summer which is part of the reason for Company Car removal for all field sales. Anyone hearing similar? Should Field Sales expect things to shift that quickly...

@gh yeah foodservice key accounts especially. 100% duplicative, basically 2x people visiting same distributors.

Cars are just cost savings. Exactly like the poor raises, bonus calculations being short changed, layoffs, and all of the other ways the company is cutting your pay and benefits. Its easiest to cut from your pocket.

The are testing combined merchandising, combined selling/ordering, and combined delivery. Just different tests in different markets.

Territory Managers never had cars only KAMs and Food Service. They are testing merchandisers doing both Frito and Pepsi in stores. I see the KAMs being affected and merged at the end of the summer to free up some $.

Simply put. The cars are being taken away to take money from the employees and given to PepsiCo P&L. This is just one of the many takeaways coming our way.
