Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Actual crime statistics for the Train station neighborhood 😳

Don’t let your guard down around there, especially after dark.
As of mid-December 2025, the Detroit Police Department reported:
241 burglaries,
662 vehicle thefts,
39 s-X as--ult cases,
116 robberies,
6 homic--es

The Detroit Police Department's 3rd Precinct proactively patrols the area, to combat property crime, which is the most prevalent crime reported in Corktown.'

You think it's bad now? Wait until the new "soft on crime" female mayor's reign kicks in.

@ef easy way around that! Always have a package or envelope with you addressed to yourself. Put firearm inside and tape it shut. If security ever decided to search your vehicle it would be against federal law for them to open your package.

Fairlane Mall is a very bad crime area... not recommended to go there. Have heard many crime stories both outside and inside the mall area.

I wouldn't advuse to let your guard down around the Dearborn area either. Went to Fairlane Mall over the holidays. There was a guy dressed up like Ghostface in the parking lot approaching people with a kn--e. Security confronted him. He said he was just video taping. Security just made him leave.

Of the 662 vehicle thefts, zero must be Ford vehicles because we had CM traveling around the world to figure out why F-150s are the most stolen πŸ™„ and Ford Secure subscriptions are surely covering every Ford vehicle in the city by now with service to call the police for you.

Pretty sure they fenced off the train station now. When they took out the gates at the research center in Dearborn. Theft took off. Brilliant job Ford.

Detroit PD will clean that up for Verstappen on Thursday.

Farley will be in a good mood, Ford Racing ranks #1 on the priority list over recalls and EV losses. DF might make a guest appearance I heard, rumoured skunkworks EV supercar in secret development.

It is totally safe, just like Model E employees are totally safe from any layoffs.
