@g6 various leaders, that would be just a tiny footprint. Do you think the rest of the employees are out by end of 2026?

They’ve allowed various CA leaders to stay in San Ramon another 3-4 years, and they will need a place to badge in 4x per week so there will be a downsized Lakeside for a few years longer.

Most will move quickly. Many have negotiated terms and roles that keep them in San Ramon. But the company won’t acknowledge that inequity and will justify it as business need. Need will creep up as they realize they made a mistake and Houston and Engine are a bust. All the good people will be gone by then.

After spending hundreds of millions to renovate Lakeside, they'll exit by 2028. Spend millions to relocate the remaining survivors willing to move to Houston. Then by 2030 spend several hundred million more to move back to Lakeside after realizing it was smart to have two locations as Houston suffers from future unnamed calamities and Engine turns out to be a bust.

They have several off-ramps already negotiated with Sunset. First one is Oct 1. Second Jan 1.
