Where are the rumors about P&O?

Cryptic email from GB. Where are the rumors? What’s coming next? When? What %?

@g5 well... Always "cheaper" to be an offtaker of Chinese and Malaysian SAF, once there is no strategic driver to build/ own/ operator our own facility.. I wonder if this is all off another McKinsey study 😂😂

We need a Technology EVP for sure. Tech is the largest part of the company- bigger than P&O. Was 18k people last year but only about 14k now

@j0 I hope so! We need more EVPs and people at the top.

@g5 an undoing of reinvent except for maintaining 2 upstream EVPs and a technology EVP. Time for the board to complete the task and go back to an upstream EVP and a downstream EVP

So it sounds that after all the conviction of ReInvent they have totally rolled back on new energy, Agility( in part), offshore wind, bio-renewables (only now via the company we bought in Brazil), sustainable air fuels (Castellon the except)no new regions for drilling, org structure, the CEO, the strategy lead... Anything I've missed?

This will be a HBR case study in future years...

Wonder if their is a clawback mechanism for McKinsey...

Engineering in the regions will report to the squad leads and not the discipline leads starting January 1. Discipline lead roles will be eliminated in regions and moved to bp solutions. The company doesn't care about developing people so why do you need discipline leads.

Bp solutions restructuring again. Grade G and below safe apparently. Seem to be moving into cross functional teams vs grouped by disciplines.
