My understanding is that existing remote workers will be "grandfathered" in and won't be asked to relocate. However, hiring practices will focus on locations where there are office locations. Those that were grandfathered in to remote work would be required to relocate if they move to a new position that requires work in a designated location.
@g4 Humana couldn't afford to fly people to the office if they wanted to, they had to downsize their main building in Kentucky in attempt to save money.
@by Interesting. How are they going to enforce RTO with all the people they hired on the promise they could work remotely? Are they going to fly them to the nearest Humana office & put them up in a hotel all week like they used to? That will save money! Or is that how they're going to get them to quit? Sorry, you have to move to a city with a Humana office in it or resign.

RTO isn't even realistic for Humana. The workforce is too remote and too spread out, even down to the leadership. Besides, no one wants to go into the offices. TCS has been stinking them up. And yes, I do mean that literally.
I'm guessing they brought up return to office (RTO) to try to get more people who may have been on the fence about taking ERP, to push them to take it. I can't see any other reason for forcing such a pointless initiative.

Reviewed same info regarding ERP, targeted RIFs in some areas (unspecified), hiring in others (unspecified), entire IT dept is NOT being moved to offshore (apparently it was a rumor). Probable RTO coming but no specific info on that yet. There was a cute commercial with Humana members playing pickleball. Working on improving processes with HR. I can't remember everything but that's some. No brand new information. Overall positive & org as a whole doing ok.
