I am so sick of the absolutely toxic disgusting leaders that work here. I just spoke with my manager and I got 0 for my yearly raise, and only a minor stock bump. I am working harder than I ever have, and yet all they ask for is more. Is anyone else planning on quiet quitting? Why should I strive for excellent when my pay is mediocre?

@g3 let me guess you have your elbows up?
You were given no raise because the business wants you to leave. Read the room…..
I bet a prison is worse
“Worst place in the country”. Let me guess. You’re an American.
@es yeah, the head of hr wrote a blog about it, then got sacked within 2 months. What a great place.
@et+ you sure about that? You sure about that?
I am actually quitting myself on Friday. Joining Salesforce soon tripling my salary for much better culture and work.
But Five9 was named to the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in the Bay Area List. was that all a hoax? Did the company buy that ranking?
Sadly this appears to be the start of a well used business plan by Five9 to continue to reduce headcount - Encouraged Natural Attrition
By splitting the workforce into two groups you make the process even easier - Those who are seen to be expendable and given 0 pay raise, often with out of reach or extended targets will look to leave, those who they want to keep and reward with 5~4% pay increases will pick up the slack from those who leave ...
The major company win is no redundancy, no market reaction to mass groups leaving, no major change to workloads, For those who stay who pick up the slack from the departed, its a slow moving process over circa 12 months so the growth in work load is hardly seen but they feel "valued" due to the pay increase. For everyone else, they just leave with no big drama or fuss ......
In short a zero pay rise means your cards are marked, but this time you will choose to leave rather then being pushed.

I quit and it’s been the best decision! New job starting on Monday! This place isn’t worth it. I’ve been looking for quite some time and can say it ain’t easy out here, but this place makes a pay cut or demotion look like an investment in one’s mental health!
You still didn’t quite quit yet at this point? Lol
