Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Does MW or MN or LC ever come to the office?

I’m guessing that’s the last place they will show their faces. I’ve never seen them around.

@ba Actually it’s Sugar Land Airport, not Hobby, for the time being…

@g0 I understand the security aspect, but that didn’t prevent former CEOs from interacting with us. MW just seems to hide behind the security in his ivory tower while the company is falling apart.

They do not interact and you can understand why. They have security detail and protocols in place

@c7 How do they behave? Do they interact at all with employees? Do you get to share the elevator ride?

As someone who works between the 47th and 49th floor, yes they do come every day unless they’re traveling

I've seen MW in the halls and elevator often, zero engagement though

You mean the high brass can't work from home and slack all the time? Wow.
Too bad that doesn't apply to the employees. If it did, maybe there wouldn't be such an overbearing need to cut so many inefficient so-called workers?

Just go down to Hobby and see if the corporate jets are in the hanger.

Like they really need to check in with you before getting in the office to let you know they aren’t slacking off. Also assumes you are in the office.

It's good to be the king! I wouldn't show up either.
