With the looming recession, there is no way oil hits $360/barrel, even if a war starts. That's a lot of fearmongering.
Don’t worry about layoffs. I see plants being relocated. Which technically would be a layoff. However, you’ll never come back from this one.
No recalls. So don’t expect a call back, ,it will never happen.
Will happen soon with the current stock price performance. Much worser than peers. Hope they start at the top. Wallstreet finally noticed that Honeywell is dependent on legacy technology.
Look on LinkdIn. How many former Exec's are excited to start a new chapter. They call it POW alumni association.
indian PMT boss? what will you do? Go back India, and it's hot.
I hope I get picked this time.
I think the US actually. The world does not look quite as flat as it used too. I think there is a strong possibility of defense act funding for a US oil production restart and that isn’t going to be India.
So you believe UOP will have a bo-m when oil price rises. Do you mean UOP Des Plaines or UOP India? My bet is on India.
Wait till oil takes the next leg up. Major firms are seeing oil as high as $360/barrel. Almost daring Russia to use his oil as a we---n.
UOP will be in a sudden bo-m as people rush to drill and refine in the US.
Aero defense sites will be on round the clock production as war breaks out due to power shifts from the disruption.
In the short term (1 to 3 Fiscal Qtrs) you may be safe. Over the longer time period (1-2 years) you aren't, unless you have outstanding or-l skills and don't mind what you have to eat (defecation)!
Lists, lists and more lists. HW is always ready with lists of names that gotta go! Don't ever think they are not one DA click away from a massive layoff.
No one is ever safe at HW
why the opinion that we're safe for now?
A lot of folks believe we're safe for now, but I can't help but worry.
