Has anything ever come of this time tracker?

Some groups are notified and given “training” on it and others aren’t. You’re able to see your own data but it’s an extremely flawed system and doesn’t accurately track productive time. My department was told to just ignore it but then managers have brought up checking the data when employees complain of feeling burnt out and over worked. Feels like they do this as a way to write off employee’s concerns and not have to actually address the ridiculous expectations.
Other departments were told they need to account for every minute within Sapience and keep a detailed record of how their time was spent in case management questions it down the road.
Either way, the data, whether accurate or not, can and will be used against you if it benefits USB management.
Do they tell you when it’s installed on your machine? Someone said you get access to the daily reports from it?
Open software self service and look for a program called Work Process Analytics. If it’s there, Sapience is on your PC.
Another way is to open task and look for “leaf”. If it’s there, it’s tracking you at that very moment.
Anyone wondering, someone no longer with the bank told me you can see it in outlook. Go to you coms add-in and look for the slow performance. If you have it, it will be there. You can probably disable it there too but just for outlook…
Crazy!! We don't have that on our system...Nor have we had meetings about anything in reference to Sapience. Is this something new??
Why have this tracking people if your job is result driven?
I know some sales people that are on top of leaderboard every year, but would not track well for hours worked
I know a couple of people that got cannned because they take long bathroom breaks, resulting in showing they only worked 6 hours some day.
So if you ur--e a lot or have bowel problems, too bad, every minute counts
I love Sapience. I have learned that sales teams bringing money into the bank isn't what's important. Bringing in $10M and only 1 click a minute is fireable performance. Bringing in $1M in the same time period, but 10 clicks a minute means incredible productivity.
The team is clicking away and performance has never been better.
Sick practice. Shows a severe incompetence of management skills.
Sapience tracks everything... keystrokes, websites visited, and even mouse movement time. I receive daily reports from it, and I’ve seen firsthand how it’s used to monitor every move. In some teams, it’s strictly enforced, leading to multiple terminations. Others may be more lenient.
How can you tell if Sapience is running on your pc?
It was supposed to not be used as a “gotcha” tool, but it indeed lead to quite a few folks being canned. We already had tools in place to do this though. Read between the lines, if a manager tries to tell you something isn’t for something, without anyone asking, they probably have the intention of using it for that purpose.
EFCC got it and then had major layoffs.
My team did one training with Sapience representatives on how to see our data. There were some funny comments from people on the call about how this feels like a waste. That’s all that’s come of it never been brought up to anyone on my team that I know of. Seems like a stupid waste of money.
Yea, meetings with my manager about why I only worked 6 hours a day.
Told him it didn’t track the team calls and message . Also, I take long po-p
