@ft acknowledging that two of their employees were kidnapped while on the clock and having an action plan for how they’re going to fulfill their LEGAL OBLIGATION to keep their employees safe would be a good start. Know that your employees aren’t safe and doing nothing is flat out criminal negligence.
@fw Our leaders have a MORAL obligation to speak. This happened on THEIR watch. Silence implies acceptance and complicity. If two perfectly legal citizens can just be pulled off the floor mid shift and the company doesn’t even acknowledge it, what’s stopping it from happening more often? And the scope expanding? Everyone is just going to pretend it didn’t happen? Gtfoh. SAY SOMETHING if you’re paid to lead. SAY SOMETHING if you’re a decent human being. These are very reasonable expectations.
@fv a statement that will solve it! The problem is the administration not the company. You are mad at the company for literally no reason and you know it. Grow up
@ft issuing a statement condemning the harassment and as--ult team members and guests in our stores would be a good start.
@b7 what do you want them to do? You are mad at the wrong people.
@er leadership has done nothing to give me this confidence. They have done nothing but bend the knee to this administration. Target is a shell of what it once was. It is a soulless, trending towards evil, corporation. Until proven otherwise. Silence is only more confirmation of this.
Our team was asking for a corporate response because there was nothing we created our own.
@er Pretending it didn’t happen isn’t it. Now is not the time to be quiet.
@e0 There are legal channels and processes that our LT needs to follow. I’m confident that all things that CAN be done, are being done, or a-least in progress. This is new for everyone.
If we don’t come out swinging after today’s abduction of two team members, citizens mind you, then I need to go. I can’t morally live with myself working here.
If leadership chooses to remain silent while team members are dragged from our stores, like what was filmed at the Richfield store today. This is no longer a company I can morally continue to work for. We are all complicit if this is allowed to continue.
I love how during Covid we received almost daily leadership updates and now the city could be bombed and we wouldn’t hear a peep. Shows how performative all the Covid stuff was. They never really cared and now they don’t have to pretend like they do.
Guess it’s just a put your head down and get to work kind of place these days.
