Wow, those documents paint Windstream and Uniti as a really greedy pair of companies! It’s hard to believe that federal courts would allow any billion dollar company, with billion dollar execs, to rip people off like this and still be out selling their products like business as usual. Aren’t there any consequences? What could they accomplish in four months that they couldn’t accomplish in a year? Am I wrong or does this seem more like a billion dollar deception?
Two groups of creditors just filed objections to Windstream's request to extend the bankruptcy 4 months. They say it needs to be less. They're also saying Windstream won't talk to them - just the senior secured creditors:

They have some additional comments worth a skim to the effect that Windstream is overlooking some assets that would provide some recovery to other creditors.
Just reading through this message board and only Windstream employees would believe things are getting better.
Stop complaining. Sure they will grant themselves more bonuses, but your inevitable job loss has also been postponed.

Somehow Windstream stays open for business while their outages destroy other businesses. We tried to work from home thru this crisis, but our business service has been down over a week due to windstream “not having any spares to resolve your outage”. We are closing our doors. Thanks Windstream
For insiders, how bad is the network? Is the problem limited to copper so if fiber replaced copper then problem fixed? Or is the configuration and back office so bad that fiber investment alone serves no purpose?
Pretty good guess how this will go.

With all of the economic hardship businesses are going through right now I don't see this getting denied right now. The stars have aligned for the LR5 to kick the chair out from under WIN. Even with the settlement with UNIT it just buys us more time and doesn't fix the structural issues.
Probably is the worst managed network. But remember, TT came here from Unity and promptly handed the pink slips back to his old boss!! But wait, they just told yesterday that the company was booming because of all the residential upgrade requests?!!! I’ve honestly never worked anywhere where the company continuously tries to deceive customers, employees, contractors, government...everyone!!! Besides trying to eat, how could any salesperson sell this company services to anyone??
Nobody is willing to finance billions in debt to a company that owns nothing and who is processing 50 disconnects to every 1 install over the last 2yrs. This crisis is putting windstream out of its misery......worst network in the history of telecom
