Have older or remote employees been targeted by this large, company-wide layoff? Are there grounds to investigate this possibility?

In RTP older employees were targeted.
@fq wow... 6? Out of how many hundreds over the last few years? That is statistically insignificant.
remote workers are not a protected class
There is some meat to it. The issue will be finding an attorney to take on the case. It has been going on for multiple years now. I can point to at least 6 that I know of personally. How do I know? Well if I find an attorney that will come out.
Sheesh, go back through the last two weeks of topics. Plenty of people both supporting AND refuting this, which tells you there is no meat to it.
