We’ve lost three in the past week on my team, all from preferred vendors, all offshore. They know what’s coming and have decided it’s not worth the headache. It’s going to snowball.

I agree with you but the so called "high fliers" that cannot perform are now in the management positions with the power to move job positions over seas and to the MSP contractors. The ELT management will see the reduction in costs but the quality of customer service is not well measured by metrics. Many of the LT do not understand how to measure productivity and customer satisfaction. They create metrics that do not represent an accurate representation of productivity.

We have too many people already. Lucky, I have a background on the vendor side of things where you learn to do a lot with a little and deliver results. Some of these “high fliers” are going to be “fast fallers” when they realize there is more to work than teams meetings and networking groups. I expect a lot of Them to leave when they have to actually work. I wish them the best, but I know the type of person it takes to do what chevron wants done….and a lot of legacy chevron people don’t have it. Good luck.

Worst part of it all, everyone will have to do it, you can’t push back because if you do, you will fired. This is the world we live in, Chevron spoiled us for so many years, life is about to get real.
