Has anyone declined the pay off and taken Chevron to court successfully?

Wonder who keeps downvoting the posting of this ongoing lawsuit? It’s public record.

@rv nope, it’s still ongoing.
@gg looks like the case was dismissed if I read the status correctly
Sounds like she was just ahead of her time before MW told everyone to start being mean.
Watch out her spy and everyone's spy Chuck G the guy with suspenders will go after you too.
@ra she is truly an evil person. No redeeming value. She has made so many people’s life a living he-l, and if you read the full complaint, she boasts about that.
One of the many reasons why I’m glad I’m no longer there is that evil people like her have been promoted, while truly good people have been let go.
That tells you what type of company Chevron has become.

Wow thanks for sharing. That B was a selection reps for many people I know including folks she ultimately laid off
Unless you have a Federal case (discrimination, harassment), you aren't going to be successful. If you haven't had a trove of labor lawyers contacting you, you aren't going to be successful.
@fp let’s hope that lawsuit is successful. Sounds like things haven’t improved since 2019 and sad that the subject of the suit got promoted in 2025

ZERO people declined payout.
You can take the severance and still sue if there was deception by Chevron in any way, shape, or form. However, you won't be successful if you were simply laid off with no illegal activity from Chevron.
Just take the payout. Joo Pate and his team of lawyers will hunt you down.
this must be written by an attorney, anyone this stupid should be laid off
What would be the point you would not get more than the payoff.
Esp after paying legal fees.
It's a bit like walking away from a bully sometimes you just have to cut the cord and do what it takes to maintain your own mental health and well-being.
