May want to look into this depending on what state you’re in, but a new guideline states that if you have been vaccinated and test positive your employer must give you an additional 40 hrs of PTO. It does apply where I live and they can’t get around it. Mine was accepted!

So of the 5.5 million Covid deaths worldwide, none of those people worked? Remember the record number of unfilled jobs? Also, it doesn't matter if it was the media, the government, or aliens, what matters is that it all revolves around Covid. No flu has ever caused this level of chain reaction.
@yut B#itch please. The media and government did that. It was the overblown reaction to the virus that caused all those things, not the virus itself.
Are you blind to the world around you? Show me a news story on how the flu has decimated the population around the world, caused unprecedented job openings (literally every employer is short staffed), caused the worst supply shortage in recent history, caused record numbers of Dr's and nurses to quit, and caused 7% inflation, amongst many other issues. If you don't believe Covid is deadly, that's one thing. If you don't see what is going on in the world around you, strictly because of two years of the pandemic, you have bigger issues.
@oyv+1eNsqLqX keep saying that, maybe it'll become true... Omicron is basically a joke at this point.
The flu isn't as deadly or contagious as Covid.
@fnr+1eNsqLqX sure, but for only COVID is short-sighted
Do you want to be in the cube farm with someone that has the flu? No. Paid sick leave for contagious diseases is a good idea across the board.
What about if I get the flu shot and catch the flu? This is getting pretty ridiculous...
