Any updates on how many in D3 Core took the offer and how many Wire Techs will be let go?

Don’t know who you are or your motives but that is messed up. Try to be divisive somewhere else, people’s jobs are at stake.

@flt thanks for being helpful and immediately ruining it by being a snide a–. In case you forgot, this is a PUBLIC FORUM and not everyone here works for AT&T and could be a concerned family member of an AT&T employee. Stop assuming you are talking to another employee and worry about your neck on that AT&T sized chopping block. If you can’t be kind then at the very least STFU.

They want the volunteers number. The group tells how many techs in that group. They also want anyone who can’t figure that out on there own to resign immediately! 🤣

#in group - Is the number of that title in a crew. Some crews are mixed titles.

# of Voluntary Opportunities - Is the total they want off payroll.

Example: 3 FT voluntary offers out of 10 FT’s in group but 17 total in crew because other titles, 7 ST’s.

10 FT’s + 7 ST’s = 17 total crew

So the offer “voluntary” to craft, hoping old timers bite. If 695 is not reached, then come back with surplus. The number is then put in surplus. They are allowed to bump the Uverse techs. Once all of that is complete they announce the surplus in the Uverse group.

This puts the technician that was previously ST, FT on Uverse work load and schedule until platform sunset. At that point you have no one to bump.

Forgive my lack of knowledge on how to interpret this spreadsheet. I see 2 columns...#of volunteer opportunities and #in group. Which number is the actual number of headcount that they want to reduce?

I'm a digital technician with 20 years in Florida and just got my voluntary offer. Basically it's the cash equivalent of SIPP based on years of service plus $50k. I'm not taking it.
