Well, I guess when you don't have a lot to give, you give it to the people who need the least the most.

@131
Thanks and best of luck to all of you.
I will be teaching a class at a local college, Financial accounting that will cover GAAP basics. This will allow me to "slide" into retirement.
I have had a good run and am very thankful for the life lessons within a Corporate envirnoment that I am taking with me.
@zn Good luck with your next adventure.. with enough details in your post beyond broad terms not sure what to believe or not believe especially with everything being anonymous.. but with your MBA and heading west I just want to say enjoy hopefully a less stressful position where ever you land.
@zd
I am unable to disclose my contributions within the Company as it is classified as "confidential financials" from a forensic accounting perspective. My contributions have been acknowledged from Ann M to UB and even Bandy. I have been here a while and have most likely helped you get a merit increase along the way.
I find money, unfortunately, I have resorted to looking in the living room couches.
I wish all of you luck as I am riding into the wonderful west coast sunset.
Departure- 6/5/2026
@yq I’m still at a loss to understand how your “Big 10” MBA brought change to Xerox that improved our financials or services that we deliver to our selves (internal improvements) or our customers? This is like a doctor saying I’m a doctor and have the ability to save this persons life but I decided the doctor wasn’t going to save the life.
@wa
A degree is not an accomplishment, but an MBA is.
A degree is expected, at least in my family.
Also, I do not believe that everyone got their MBA from a Big 10 University.
@w2 Merit raises are suppose to be based upon you delivering work product that produces an improved product or service, saves the company time or money, brings improved support for customers or a similar type of event.
I’m all for you getting an MBA and improving yourself but that in and of itself doesn’t deserve a merit raise, how did it change any value metrics for the company?
@w2 an MBA? Hahahah! You mean the one that everyone has? It truly means nothing and if you think it does, you should try another match book course.
Degree. Gets you in. Common sense keeps you there.
Since the penny is being eliminated, no one is being paid for common cents.
Obviously so…
BTW, any salary increases are only temporary until layoff and serve to accelerate the date of insolvency.
@w2 So you are one of those nitwits that thinks a degree means something. Only if you are entry level. In 50+ years I never hired one candidate that brought up a degree as an accomplishment.
@vv
Yes, my MBA says so.
@t8 cry cry cry no merit raise to be fair overseas is probably doing most of your work so they deserve the raise. Did you do anything to deserve the merit raise?
@OP
Discrimination? They are having tough economic times?
Really? I have not had a merit increase here is four years.
@hw
Maybe a Company wide walk out and have our customers do the complaining?
Wait, we do not listen to our customers.
Yeah, from $4 an hour to $4.15...
@hg Waste your time and enrich the lawyers. 10 years from now when it is settled, XRX will have $37 in the bank.
If they are union, I am curious if a strike was threatened.
Are those countries working under a union
I'm in.
I was checking the profits. Not for Xerox but for Mehron.
Mehron is the world's leading supplier of clown makeup.
There was a huge order placed for Norwalk right before the raise announcement came out.
I saw LP on the loading dock signing for a large box. He looked happy.
@fc
I see a class action law suti coming, who is in?
Colombia, Egypt, Hungary, India, the Philippines, and Turkey
It shows everyone the lack of transparency. Frankly, I'm concerned because some of these countries are not exactly great friends of the U.S.
Which countries are eligible?
I would love a lawsuit over a certain type of discrimination based on those countries vs others and their way of life.
weird group of countries that are eligible for merit, you have to wonder how they came to the determination that that these countries needed to receive merit increases?
Yes there inflation is horrendous. That should be prioritised.
@de Nah Webster Boy through and through
@d6 you sound like some re--rded British bi--h boy
Third world... really? Shows your level of thinking
@cz We are all getting shafted muppet
The fact that you all are so angry about employees that get taken advantage of are getting a raise, shows how narcissistic and fu---d up you all really are.
@cr
They get raises since their economy is in ruins?
What about the US and our economy?
There has got to be some sort of fallout from this. What a gut punch.
OP took the words right out of my mouth. Third world sh!thole countries get pay raises, and American workers can go ph--k themselves. This company su-ks.
Absolute shock! Not! Just keep taking the money until the lights go out. Do the bare minimum.
dont worry q2 will be so good other geographies will get big raises too!!!
Future of the workforce. Keep moving the work to the lowest cost geographic location. Quality of workers doesn’t matter. Only need enough brainpower to do the minimum.
@ae
Don't bite the hand that feeds you..
Absolutely disgusting. How to alienate the people you're relying on to make a difference. Senior leadership are wired to the moon.
What would anyone below the c suite ever believe they spoke get a raise? You all work at the same company. Shame on you for believing it!
