I didn’t see anything here in CA, but all the posts last week were so certain of mass layoffs. I would have expected to see some posts sharing their severance details

So people were full of sh-t when they said the 19th was a certainty?
@fe January will be interesting. There’s still much not known, especially in marketplace. I would say they will be very deliberate and methodical. One, to avoid WARN notices and two, to make sure they have enough staff for whatever membership remains after the dust settles. It may be March or April before some of this can be determined.
January is where it starts but they need people in January in certain roles. It is our busiest time of year in certain departments. January also happens to be the most popular month for layoffs in the U.S.
Not yet and it won’t be a massive push. It’ll be in coordinated waves affecting smaller groups at time throughout Q1.
