FY20 Performance Review

Anyone already had the feedback on the year end performance review and the outcome of that? Like, if the performance is good, any good news in terms of bonus or payrise?

Mgr says, "I really appreciate your [whatever]".
Me: "Yeah, but does the company? I don't think so!"

Mgr: "I really appreciate that you keep learning new things and bringing them into the account."
Me: "I don't do it to be gratuitous to the company. I do it to stay marketable!"

ANNUAL INSULT.

No kidding @cbzw+1510cMAs. I aced all of my performance reviews. Didn't mean anything. Oh and guess what? Corp has decreased the bonus eligibility pool to ensure what money was allocated went to the higher up. Every freaking year.

Spot on @faph+1510cMAs I heard from a reliable source that this year any pretence of not lowering FPR results to match some desired results was gone. Managers wasted a lot of time on doing proper scoring for FPR then along come Mr Corporate and adjusts the scores to match what the spreadsheet said. There will be a lot of very unhappy people as FPRs are done.

If you imagine in dxc that any manager can choose to reward staff themselves you are living in cloud cuckoo land sunshine.

This place was and is an absolute dictatorship. Every decision comes from the top.

So no any new middle manager is going to be as incapable of doing Jack as the last one, even if they are really good people.

It's the bosses that need kicking out, mike is trying to turn this company around and theres so many dead end old bosses who don't know how to work with people, they manage in a them an us style. The sooner they are gone this company will start moving forward as new managers will reward the staff fairly.

No I heard Mike promised pay rises will be paid to the remainder by August on the earnings call to the analysts a few days ago, so his not going to lie is he. Listen to the call transcript .

You must be new if you think anything happens from Performance Reviews, box ticked move on.
Of course that's if you are in a country where there's no redundancy programme going on, in the UK managers too busy trying to mitigate the idiocy from on high, plus worrying about their own redundancy pool so delayed until further notice (again)

What a bunch of jokers, if theres no pay rise slot of people are going to produce little going forward and this company will accelerate its decline. The only people getting rises and shares and bonuses are management, what sort of fairness is that?

The stock price has declined from 56 to 14 and change over the last 10 months. The only way anyone is getting a bonus or pay raise is if they go to another company.

No talk at all of pay raises, guess they think we're lucky to have a job.

Got a 3 - Meets Most Expectations review... I am supposed to be happy with that... even though had been sweating it out to get the account from critical issues... and also having received Exceeds or Meets All/Exceeds Some... review the past 5+ years...

Should I care about this review ? Should I take it up to the higher mgmt. ? Would welcome your thoughts.

I had mine today, great feedback and thanks for all the good work I've done. No pay-rise or bonus though obviously... I've never had one and never will unless I drop below minimum wage eventually.

No good news. Just a box ticking exercise as usual. From my experience, it doesn't matter what you score, no payrise and no bonus.

My boss was instructed to apply a very vigorous Bell Curve with the underlying implication that they wanted as many people to look average as possible. They'll use that as a reason to not give out pay increases or bonuses.

As has been said many times 'Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss'. You will die of old age before this company shows it values employees. It simply doesn't.

ROFL. You must be new to DXC. 100% Guaranteed - No Bonus, No Raise.

Same result 7 years running back to CSC days. Even during the good years. In 2020!?! You had hope of money? No way dude.
