The compliance leadership su-ks. The good ones left or were laid off because they challenged the politics. It is only one or two good eggs left and they have been with the company for decades maybe they are next.

@km completely agree. This board is all over the place with people just wanting to stir up stuff and miss the point of providing real information on layoffs and potential job opportunities. Other boards I’ve read focus on those issues mainly while this board is all over the place with a lot of agendas it seems.

Let’s not bring politics into the layoff discussion. It doesn’t help our situation. I don’t think Elevance is even on the federal level radar. My take on @g4’s comment was that it was intended as sarcasm (at least that’s how I read it).

I cannot imagine the President, a former business leader taking our leader serious. He built his business from the ground up over the past 50 years. What did our leader do? lol

@fd: thanks for that link. Just knowing that the president is looking out for the premium paying members gives me peace of mind. I wouldn’t even dream that Gail would be able to sway his steadfast concern with a tribute payment. I’m looking forward to seeing my premium reduction. Whew!

The President will be meeting with health insurance leaders to discuss what has been going on for the past 15 years. He is expecting to get huge reductions in premium costs. More RIFs to come if he gets his way.
