I know this place gets a lot of hate, but I actually like my job. Decent pay, interesting work, great coworkers. Yeah, the layoff stress su-ks, but my experience here has been better than anywhere else I've worked. Can't be the only one, right?

Definitely agree. All these negative comments are from super entitled or unfortunate people. Qualcomm is great. In my previous job I had to work graveyard shifts on the road in caltrans. Pay was horrible and the politics were worse. Qualcomm is heaven compared to that.

Good boy, OP. Management will read this and know that you are one of the good guys. They will not lay you off.
So are you the one who preaches 'happiness is a state of mind' or are you a plunger launched into the guts by management to read the real pulse? In any case, from the kind of reactions and engagements you are getting, you must have got the drift. Remember, the power to discern is not a state of mind.
@f9 On linkedin there are multiple hires all in India. Su-kash must be fired and headcount in India should be reduced by 50% or more.
