In many EU countries, especially France, it seems that companies adopt employees rather than hire them.In the US you can be shown the door without cause. In France it’s quite different
People in France are very lucky.. out here in Singapore we get absolutely nothing.
France is a bit different in that a company can only let 15 people a year go through WFR(I stand to be corrected) so VSP is the only way.
It's happening everywhere. If true, at least France has some sort of Voluntary Separation Plan. Everywhere, people are getting blind sided.
