@16b I have 1 more "right sizing" project in 13x2, then they will probably tell me when my last day is. 21 years with the company so I will happily take a 43 week paid severance

Yep "right sizing" doing more with less and losing company knowledge. Fun times but those execs will still get a pretty bonus and atta boys all around.
There’s going to be a lot of flexing showing strength and belief in the company but pretty sure Elliott won’t agree. I took VRP last year because I knew it was growing more tenuous each time. Not sorry.
@ac they usually send a WARN notice same time or before? Few weeks left, makes sense, Elliott plan getting implemented
The 3000 number has been communicated in several upper echelon manager groups, never be surprised by who is within earshot but trying to keep it quiet until after Org Health closes for the year!

Why the need to leave after year-end? If you are impacted you’ll leave with approx 1 year severance and full pension. If you stay you will then roll into the ARC. So why the mass expected exodus?
@mr VRP is gone. People need to stop hoping for it. They have had at least four opportunities since 2023, and if you've passed them all up. NO VRP FOR YOU!
All the pension employees won’t be leaving Dec 31st. Some will. They’ll be plenty still working on Jan 1st. Although many will leave if a VRP is offered.

I am sure my job will finally be done soon. 16 of us left doing payroll items that can easily be done by a manager. They just need us to help with all of these "right sizing projects" until the end of the year.

PepsiCo’s restructuring accrual (“liability”) as of Dec. 28, 2024 included $338 million of severance and other employee costs.
In 2025, the company recognized $168 million in severance and employee costs as part of restructuring charges (within a broader “restructuring charges” line) and also $109 million in “other costs” (asset impairments, etc.).
The 10‑Q notes that “the majority of the restructuring accrual at September 6, 2025 is expected to be paid within a year.
I heard some groups were already reorg within the past two weeks
In the 16th century it’s estimated there were 60 million buffalo in NA. by the 19th century the number declined to under 600. I think the analogy of us all being buffalo is going to make sense in a couple of months lol.

I agree its been way to quiet lately especially since 3000 of our charging buffalos frontline are getting put out to pasture soon. Sales are still down and not coming back with the repackaging gimmicks we are trying so goodbye to warehousers, plant workers, merchandisers, drivers and managers! VRP is a thing of the past, I doubt we will see the golden parachute again!
Lots of rumors and speculation. Everyone will have to wait and see. Unfair i agree but that’s the PepsiCo way.
@a8 Normally, the announcement is at the beginning of Dec, with people also leaving with the end of pension contributions from PepsiCo. It could be a double hit for everyone.
I know people want the VRP offering....I've heard that may not happen until March or April of 2026. It may not happen at all anymore.
@OP i heard rumors a big reorganization is coming beginning of the year.
