Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

How’s it going in migration land. Honestly I am loving that virtually all communication has ground to a halt. My managers are milking every minute of “good luck my laptop is bricked so call on my cell phone”.
I cannot see any way this ends other than aero being separate companies in everything but name. For sure I don’t go out of my way to look up people and the plausible denial factor is through the roof.

@f2 i heard they took screen shots of servicenow .. fed it into gpt.honeywell.com and cloned the app free of any license in a week. claiming 10m rupies a year in savings.
it is called "YouHaveBeenServedAI".

IT leadership fail. Over and over and over.
First they outsource to IBM as part of the allied buyout and that is a disaster… remember the townhall when Dave cote put the head of IT up front to answer questions? Brutal.
Then they limp along for years eventually being shaken up by crisis of wannacry that wrecks thousands of servers globally and shuts the company down for weeks. Shiela snags that crisis to build an empire pulling back several thousand jobs into Honeywell.. but the result is overcomplicated by a bureaucracy only India could imagine. Everything grinds to a halt. It gets worse to the point you have a 50-50 chance of any ticket being assigned to someone who didn’t work for the company any more. Good luck getting anything done.
Is it better? Maybe.. you still can’t get anything done but then nobody bothers to try anymore. The last time I tried to create a new server application from a vendor purchase it took 18 months and several hundred tickets. The license had expired before the first user logged into the tool.

Hope your bonuses require you to fill out service now tickets for one admin account, two application installs, three pdt27s, four firewall rules, five hic servers, and a partridge in pear tree using service now.
Is serviceNOW the most ironic name in aero?

They keep moving the dates to point we have given up. Everyone scheduled doctors appointments and business travel around the IT schedule .. but apparently IT isn’t required to keep schedules.
Your lack of planning
Is not my emergency.
Probably just format my drive and hand it over. Call me when you fix it. Oh wait… you can’t .. I don’t have a phone.
