Hey d-mb d-mbs.. the company can't take the pension away, they can suspend or freeze it. What you've earned and are vested in is yours, its insured by an annuity. So much misinformation on here by low information employees.

No our TM discussed it in huddle on Thursday. Ask your TM, it's true. The email just went to leaders. No more anniversary checks. People only get those checks when they have been at SF for at least 20 years. No one is going to make 20 years with this sh-t hole company probably ever again. They are trying to run off all tenured employees. Don't want people to stay. 70% of employees in most areas have been with SF 2 years or less, per plan. We are the Dollar General, Waffle House, $8 Wine Box, Carnival Cruise, Disney Movie Remake or Quiky Mart of the insurance industry. Bottom of the barrel! Look around, look at the people we hire, feels like you are standing in line down at the DMV .....

This is fake. No announcement about eliminating the anniversary check. HR guide still shows the recognition check

Keep talking Proximity, all those "we face the customer", reopen tasks are coming back you way starting next week. All the horrible inspections, incomplete estimates, arguments over matching, total roof replacements, total siding replacements, and all the other garbage that has been dumped on in-office is now your baby! LOL! Enjoy! Face away!

@fb your absolute lack or organizational awareness is astounding. Get back to the office and get a clue. I face customers and do the actual work of the company. You support, keep score and get coffee. Your job does not deserve what a field rep gets. Agents sell. We service. You post and complain. Enjoy your traffic.

More cuts are coming, we have just seen the start. Layoffs in more areas than just underwriting. Won't be surprised to see them announced sometime this week and definitely over the next coming months. These people are sc-m of the earth. I saw we just increased our net worth over $13 billon dollars from this time last year, missing growth goals by a lot. Virtually none of that net worth is ever shared with the employees. The greed of the politicians and corporations is now getting beyond compare. Rough times coming, rough times.

D-mbarrrss, no one is making any comparison with Prox, the point is you/field folks make up about 10-15% of employees at State Farm that are fully remote. The rest of the remote employees are in Fire Team Managed, Fire Stewardship, Express, Property Complex, AWC In-Office, Estimatics, Total Loss, Injury, Subrogation, PIP/MPC, Contents, Casualty, Systems, Underwriting, HR Performance Support, Ad Services Leadership, Purchasing, Marketing, Agency Support and all the other portions of the company that re-ards like you forget about. People do the exact same jobs in the hubs, for the same pay, except they sit in traffic jams for 2 hours a day in Atlanta, Phoenix, and Dallas. They have to pay tolls, for their own gas, maintenance, and countless other expenses associated with having to drive into an office. Most studies show working from home saves the average worker about $10K a year in expenses versus people that have to commute.
Go back to climbing roofs, all you will do is call it WTD, blistering, no ADPL and send it to in-office for other people to do your job. I hate when clueless people post and show their complete and total ignorance. Classic!

Making a comparison between Proximity and in office working from home is silly. Im a ProxRep who works outside, in peoples basements, in my van. I aint at home. Ever. 2 screens, printer and all supplies in the van. Bring a lunch and eat it while driving. Not doing a load of laundry. Not watching my sick kids. Not walkin my dog. I can always tell the posts from "support" roles who have never met a customer, yet alone explained a coverage denial in person.

I'm a performance support rep in HR and saw some interesting stats the other day. With all the hiring we are doing in Proximity and the field, plus the reductions in staffing in areas like Underwriting and Express, by mid next year we will have more remote employees then employees in the hubs. LOL! Let that sink in the next time you are sitting in traffic in Atlanta or Dallas. Remember they get paid the same as you except you are sitting your sorry arszz in traffic, burning gas, paying tolls, wear and tear on your body/vehicle and the most valuable the waste of your valuable time. Only at Snake Farm....I hate this sh-t hole.
Ohhh and for the usual d-mbarss that always post make the tenured people go back to the office, they obviously don't work at State Farm. In most areas now, 70% of the employees have been with SF two years or less. Mostly larger black women and every other form of DEI hire. It's why any of us that have been here for awhile say State Farm like a good neighbor "hood". Bottom of the barrel.

About 20-30% of people will walk when they make us return to office. But that's the plan....

Yes, I was in-office this week and heard all the racket going on with them working on conference rooms and offices. They had already started adding sound diffusers to the ceilings, and removing the toppers on the TM cubicles. They also added more food services. Pretty much the writing is on the wall they are about to force all of us back to the office full time, just a matter of time. Especially since they are trying to force people to leave and unemployment is going up. Execs get's really brave when they think they are in the drivers seat again. I hate this place, just the bottom of the barrel.

We just got the news yesterday that basically all remote Fire employees will be moving to Proximity. I've seen ad services working on and updating all the conference rooms and adding more offices. Our health care costs went up. We cut tuition reimbursement in half. No more anniversary checks. U/W folks are getting severance and will be overstaffed by over 2000 people by the end of 2026. They are overstaffed by 500 people by the end of this year. These are all things that have happened and are facts. Claims you are going to return to the office full time June 01, 2026. They are about to mess with your PTO and convert some of it to a "paid sabbatical", that they will never let you take. Short term disability benefit is going away and 2026 will be the last year of pension contributions. Rumor has it that EIP will be paid this year but Executive is considering punishing "leadership" for their failures and suspending MIP this year. The Executives will still get their SMIP. This place is a sh-t hole!

Your "Director" wouldn't know and you make that same post on every thread. The pension is going away sooner then later.

It wasn’t much. My director told me the pension won’t be touched. That’s all I care about.
