Are all CEOs this invisible? As a relatively new graduate, I thought I would see senior leaders take a more active role in guiding the organization — even my own (finance) direct line leadership is pretty invisible.
@f1 A few of us were talking about this today and wondering aloud if it’s ok with the Company to be active on social media during the workday. Then someone asked if she used a corporate device or even corporate WiFi….not that the policies for the Company apply to the ELT.
Somebody needs to ask how it is that we are all working so hard with a fraction of the resources we need, that the Beauty Queen found the time in the middle of the workday to make a long social media post about her go to people for fashion and design advice. You would think losing big lawsuits, having a team in disarray, and Elliott still an investor would be enough to keep you busy. Nope, this wunderkind felt the need to let us know where to find the perfect ball gown. Narcissist…yeah. Self aware - nope. Management wonders we don’t take them seriously.
