Any word on merit increases for this round of year-end reviews?

Why worry about a raise? Maybe another employer is a better choice.
It was stated, we should see a very small cola this year. In the past each manager was given a set dollar and the manager decided how the pool is distributed across the staff. This year any cola will be self “funded”. Meaning someone gets cut and that saving will be distributed to the manager’s staff. You’ll be lucky if you get 1%
Should be having meetings before June 5th
@f0 I agree 100%. The only people that should stay at Gainwell are those that are really close to retirement.
Which directors get bonuses? Not all do.
@pq It sounds like if you don’t find something then Gainwell will help everyone leave.
@f0 Because it's been impossible to find a new job. Trust me I've been trying.
Probably a 1% increase
Why stay working for such a terrible company?
Dir/above get b*tt load of bonuses every year. This year again they will save money from junior staff and pay themselves.
Remember - Dir and upper management are actually having “do-dos” of junior staff. They seem to like it and crave for more.
I expect it will be (at best) the official inflation rate. So effectively a pay cut. Silly peon, raises are for upper management!
HR (Gainwell’s joke of a dept) just finalized ratings. At least 20% rated 2 or 1 will be let go over next 4-6 months.
Trick - do not let your supervisor rate you 2 or 1 and also watch out for borderline 3s some of who get pushed with other so-called “low performers” !!
It will probably be the same as the last 3 years.
