Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Not many people left to layoff right?
EXCEPT at the Ivory Tower - but they need those folks show up at stores to have their pictures taken and tell the one employee they are doing a terrible job. Then back to the Ivory Tower to tell each other what a fabulous job they are doing.

@2k9 This is a site dedicated to talking about layoffs. Not a place for your rose-tinted glasses, Pollyanna.

I agree. Just wanted to start the year on a positive note.

Ok, can we stop bickering like children with each other?

Just take the Happy New Year and return the sentiment.

Do not understand the mention of “typists

@kx

Clever.

One assumes they are great typists.

By the way, her name was "Anne Rice", and Lee Child (of the Jack Reacher novels) is a hack.

You're still wrong, but not most importantly about the grammar. You went out of your way -early in the new year, a time most people look to start over and be better- to be needlessly cruel to a stranger who only wanted to wish others well.

Shame on you.

@ez Right. Stephen King, Ann Rice, Lee Child. All famous typists.

Technically, it's "type" properly, a**wipe. Buy a grammar guide, and learn about verbs.

Happy New Year, everyone else. Y'all take care.

Who are still here.

'That' is for things, 'who' is for people.

May you learn to write properly in the new year.
