Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Sell what? It basically chops up Cigna products and resells them at a cheap rate. The clients could push the business to our competitors. And employers that want to stay with the Cigna network can go through standard channels and contract directly. Pretty easy when you think about it.

More layoffs coming for our operations, because of IT automation.

Why would Cigna sell this business? It’s small but it produces a decent margin and has been growing. There aren’t many Cigna business units that are growing. Also, it basically just leases out the network that already exists for Cigna Healthcare, so any earnings they can generate are just a bonus on an existing asset. We should sell IFP before we sell Payer Solutions.

I haven’t heard anything, but I definitely see what you mean. Something is definitely up with how things are being handled/done.

@ae I felt that because of how they are managing in IT, seems like they are messing up everything

I have no idea what the answer is, but what makes you think they’re selling PS?
