So as a 6 year employee, I'd receive 12 weeks? Just making sure I keep all my ducks in a row for layoffs.

@ex can you collect unemployment in NJ and received a severance?
If your job is eliminated via layoff, you are also likely eligible for unemployment payments. In NJ the maximum unemployment is around $800/week, for 6 months maximum.
Depends on your tenure, band, and salary.
If you make $100K+, you get a sweeter deal.
@a6 this isn’t accurate. You can get that or a max of up to 52 weeks. It’s a range. Not a set amount based on years of service
Band 2 -senior rep minimum 8wks up
To 52 weeks per years of service
Band 2 -lead Rep minimum 10wks up to 52 wks per every year of service
Low Band 3 -12wks up to 52 wks per every yr of service
High Band 3 -14wks up to 52wks per every yr of service
You get 2 weeks pay for every year service.

@OP It depends on your band. Look at the FAQs. There is a table that shows your weeks based on tenure.
